Primary PSHE - Year 5 - Growing and Changing Unit

This 6-week scheme of work is taken from the EC Publishing Primary PSHE scheme.

Our progressive curriculum builds sequentially year-on-year, culminating in this Year 5 unit, Growing and Changing. This unit will deepen students’ understanding of how to express and manage emotions, including the concept of mixed emotions. Students will explore topics such as self-esteem, body image, and the physical and emotional changes boys and girls experience during puberty. They will also learn how these changes affect their feelings and relationships, providing them with tools to navigate this important stage of growth.

4. Body Image
5. Boys’ Puberty
6. Girls’ Puberty
