Year 5 relative clause worksheet

This resource is a worksheet with 2 sections and a challenge. Section A asks children to write a relative clause in the given space. Section B is a range of sentences and asks the children to identify where the relative clause needs to go, to add a relative clause into the sentence, underline the relative clause and circle the relative pronoun. The challenge asks the children to write their own sentences with relative clauses and to identify the relative clause and relative pronoun. A good worksheet to get children to practise using relative clauses in their writing and to also identify relative clauses and relative pronouns.
