Year 8 or 9 KS3 "To Kill A Mockingbird" unit of work, with a focus on key reading skills

Originally designed for GCSE students, this lovingly crafted unit of work has been used very recently and successfully with more able Year 9 students. Aimed at the more able, and containing plenty of challenging activities and stimulating content, this unit of work focuses on key reading skills. There is ample differentiation, suggested homework, a variety of well-planned and engaging lessons, as well as some fun project-based work. Please note, as per TES guidelines, videos have been removed. The assessments, focused on key extracts, are particularly useful in preparing students for the NEW GCSE English Literature exams.
