I have moved over from DT Textiles and produced this guide for use with year 9 students to give the students ( and myself!) some structure.
It follows OCR but is easily adapted and looks at all four parts of the exam, gives levels of expectation per section with objectives. Students have a tick sheet to complete to ensure they are not missing any elements of the course
Students are given a guide each and I have the same page displayed on the board as my objectives.
I also have a project 2 portfolio ( very similar you may not need both) to be used with year 9.
Please also have a look at the GCSE guide as it is a more detailed version of this booklet to ease them into GCSE from KS3 into KS4.
you may not need all as they can be adapted easily so choose which fits the best ! :)
