Zones of Regulation Match and Identify Tasks (Widgit)

Set of two tasks that support students learning about the zone of regulation: match/identify which feelings/emotions fit into which zone and a helping others in the zones of regulation task (to identify strategies that could be used to move towards the green zone). All tasks are supported with widgit symbols. Included are:

• zones and emotions matching task (zones grid and colour coded emotion cards students use to match together)
• identifying emotions in zones tasks (zones grid and plain background emotion cards)
• helping others in zones of regulation tasks - this is supported with Inside Out characters as I have seen a lot of people match them to the regulation zones - I used photos of myself and support staff as this engaged our learners (tick the colour zone the character is feeling and identify something they could do to move towards green - at end of sheets there is a section for student to complete about themselves).
