A fun, simple crafting activity for any Pets Unit or for the book What Pet Should I Get? To make this product or see the agamographs, just watch the video. What is included? Agamographs and a simple writing activity for: - dog and doghouse - cat and kitten - fish and turtle - hamster and rabbit - bird and chick An agamograph is a picture that is made so that when you look from one angle you see one picture and then from the other angle the second picture emerges! Using just 1 piece of paper, students color then cut and fold their agamograph. Then they can complete the writing activity and attach the agamograph to their finished work! There are 2 poster styles to choose from for each person. Therefore, 50 posters in total! Students choose a poster. They complete the writing activities for their person and color it. Then you can color the BLACK HISTORY MONTH letters provided and create an inspirational and informative bulletin board. Who are the 25 inspirational men and women? Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Sarah E. Goode, Sojourner Truth, Coretta Scott King, Ruby Bridges, Oprah Winfrey Jackie Robinson, Jesse Owens, Booker T. Washington, Ben Carson, Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, George Washington Carver, Colin Powell, Benjamin Banneke, Bill Pickett, Frederick Douglass, Langston Hughes, Marcus Garvey, Tuskegee Airmen, Thurgood Marshall, Barack Obama, Kobe Bryant and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. What students need: poster template and coloring pencils they will have to do some research to complete the writing activities on the poster. Examples of writing activities: one word to describe this person, how did this person change the world, 3 things I know about this person, 3 contributions this person made to society, this is what I learned from this person. Please look at the preview. These posters need to be printed on 8.5" x 14" (legal) sized paper. Otherwise, the posters will be small! Always make sure you download and save a project before printing! Another great Christmas Activity. Your students are going to love this Christmas Activity. And what a great way to reinforce co-operation amongst classmates. Each student is given an individual tree (all decorated with gnomes) to color and cut and then the class builds a giant tree together. Decorate the hallway, your classroom door or a bulletin board. What you get: Upright gnome tree design (6 options) Upside down tree design (5 options) each individual tree uses just 1 piece of 8.5 x 11 paper Design could include 4 trees, 9 trees, 16 trees, 25 trees, etc. You decide what works based on the # of students in your class. Individually, one tree is fun. Together, the gnome tree is dynamic! Use this guessing game with the Dr. Seuss book, What Pet Should I Get? At the end of the story, the children leave the store with a box. All we can see are two eyes. We are left to wonder What Pet Did They Get? This guessing game is set up to answer that question. It does so as follows: Students are given 3 clues to guess What Pet Did They Get? There is a pet hiding under the box. Once the students read the 3 clues, they guess. There is a textbox set up on the bottom of each task card. Students guess and then remove the box to see what pet is hiding behind it.
