A 20 page booklet on the value of Teamwork. Can be completed as part of a Character Education program or for any tutor time activity. Booklet is fully adaptable and can be completed at students own pace. Should last for one half term if completed during tutor time once a week but also includes extension tasks. Would also work for isolation room tasks or setting cover.

A powerpoint on the key moments of the play ‘The Woman in Black’. Although it was planned for section B of the OCR written exam it could be easily adapted for other exam boards. It is a carosel lesson in which students revise and complete task of 5 key moments from the play. It includes handouts with detailed notes on each scene and info on how students should structure their paragraphs.

A workshop on the history, artistic policy and techniques of DV8. The workshop was designed to be used over three lessons although could be adapted to suit more or less. It consists of information about DV8, warm ups, short tasks based on their techniques that include music and links to DV8 videos. It looks into 4 different DV8 projects and includes links to short clips. The workshop culminates in students creating their own piece in the style of DV8.

Included is an example Concept Pro Forma for Presenting and Performing Texts for OCR GCSE Drama. The Pro Forma is based on performing ‘Blood Brothers’. This text is not allowed to be performed for this component but I have used it so that students are able to see an example of coursework that they won’t be able to copy whilst also revising for Section A of the written exam. This includes a PowerPoint with the 4 questions and answers then some questions to get them thinking about what to write and the criteria they are marked on.

This powerpoint includes direction on the possible types of questions that could be on the exam and how the students could answer them. It includes tasks, peer assessment and learning objectives. The power point has one slide that mentions blood brothers as the set text but could be easily adapted to include a different one. The creating question worksheets are designed around Blood Brothers but again could be adapted. I suggest that it is taught over 3-5 lessons.

A series of 6 lessons on powerpoints that follow the story of Claire, Adam and their friends when they decide to have a party to celebrate the end of exams. Each lesson focuses on risk taking behaviour such as- throwing the party without supervision, advertising the party on a public social media account, smoking, binge drinking, sexual consent and drug taking. The lessons include tasks that follow the stories of the friends, give information on the law, allow the students to explore the consequences and finally finishes the story to show the repercussions for each person at the party.

A comprehensive revision booklet for The National Theatre’s performance of Jane Eyre, available to watch for free for schools on the National Theatre Collection. As live theatre is more difficult to watch this year I created this booklet to be used for home and school learning. This booklet prepares students for the evaluation section on GCSE Drama exams for all exam boards. It covers context, set, lighting, sound, costume, characterisation and directors decisions. Each section has a key words test, info about the play and questions for students to answer. It finishes with advice on structure of the essay and practice questions.
