This is a 4-way differentiated rounding activity sheet/worksheet that will help children master rounding.
The four challenges are:
-Round the to the nearest ten.
-Round to the nearest hundred and thousand
-Round to the nearest ten thousand and hundred thousand
-Round to the nearest tenth and hundredth
Included are two activity sheets/worksheets where children need to count up and back in number sequences
- Lower ability (first three numbers given, the rest relies on counting on in 2, 3, 5 etc)
- Higher Ability (sequence of eight numbers, some missing, where children will need to count on and back in order to solve the problem).
Perfect for meeting the requirements of KS2.
- Find missing angles in right angles
- Find missing angles on a straight line
- Find missing angles around a point
- Find missing opposite angles
- Calculate interior/exterior angles of polygons
-Name, calculate and measure using a protractor
Huge saving!
This is a differentiated worksheet to help children master opposite angles. Answers are included.
Children are challenged to:
- name the type of angle a ‘missing angle’ is.
- calculate its size in degrees
- measure it accurately using a protractor.
All angles are correctly sized.
There are two sheets, an Expected Standard sheet and a more challenging Greater Depth sheet (2016+ Curriculum). On each sheet there are nine missing angles, meaning that children have 27 things to do in order to complete one activity sheet.
Please rate and/or comment. All feedback is valuable.

This activity will enable children to have a deeper understanding of percentages off amounts or quantities - a key skill in life.
Included is:
- A pdf version of the questions and answers
- A .doc version of the questions and answers so that you can edit the questions to meet your class' individual needs.
This resource contains three sets of differentiated questions that will develop children's understanding of multi-step problems. These are similar in scope to SATs questions.
Answers are provided.
An editable copy is included so that you can modify to suit your own class's needs.
An interactive PowerPoint and PDF file that will guide children through how to calculate perimeter, area and volume. All formulas are coloured so that children can see exactly where the numbers in the worked examples came from.
In this presentation/pdf are slides/pages about:
Calculating Perimeter
Calculating the area of squares, rectangles and parallelograms.
Calculating the area of trapeziums.
Calculating the area of triangles.
Calculating the area of circles.
Calculating the volume of a cube.
Calculating the volume of a cuboid.
Calculating the volume of a triangular prism.
Calculating the volume of a cylinder.
Answers are provided with the activity slides for ease of delivery and quick feedback.
There is a contents page that links directly to the pages you want.
Please rate/feedback. I take suggestions!
This bundle includes fun ways to master fraction, decimal and percentage equivalencies.
1. An activity that uses short division and multiplying by 100 to convert a fraction into a decimal and percentage.
2. A fun, whole class Quiz, Quiz, Trade game.
3. Two fully interactive and hugely fun Millionaire Quiz! games for assessing progress.
4. Practice KS2 Sats questions in the form of a powerpoint.
Used to great success in Years 4, 5 and 6.
This resource specifically targets the skill of converting a fraction into a decimal and a percentage.
Children will be required to convert a fraction into a decimal using short division on the grid provided.
They will then convert that decimal into a percentage using the grid provided.
For struggling learners there is an A3 place value grid included to assist with multiplying by 100.
There is a worked example on the children's sheet.
Fully worked example answer sheet is included.
This activity is differentiated two ways and focuses on the skills of identifying 2D polygons and telling the difference between regular polygons and irregular polygons. Furthermore, a reasoning challenge is included to help you assess whether children understand the difference between the two groups.
An easy to interpret answer sheet has been included.
This resource contains three, differentiated codebreaking activities that will help you assess children's understanding of Roman Numerals. Each activity has a detailed answer sheet with it. Furthermore, on each sheet there is an optional speed challenge - perfect for building up fluency.
Bronze level – Numerals up to 500 (D).
Silver Level – Numerals up to 1000 (M).
Gold Level – Famous years in Roman Numerals.
A massive time-saving resource that'll save you hours! Covers all the KS2 expectations for mixed numbers and improper fractions.
Five differentiated activity sheets, each differentiated four ways. Included are opportunities for children to create pictorial representations of fractions, interpret pictorial representations of fractions, practice their fluency skills, use mathematical language in reasoning responses and problem solve.
Sheet 1 - Add two mixed numbers together - WITH ANSWER SHEET
Sheet 2 - Subtract a mixed number from another mixed number. - WITH ANSWER SHEET
Sheet 3 - Convert an improper fraction into a mixed number. - WITH ANSWER SHEET
Sheet 4 - Convert a mixed number into a proper fraction. - WITH ANSWER SHEET
Sheet 5 - Multiply a mixed number by an integer. - WITH ANSWER SHEET
Additionally, children will practise their simplifying skills throughout all five sheets.
Word versions have also been included so you can adapt each activity to your own cohort.
This resource contains three differentiated codebreaking activities that will help you assess children's understanding of BIDMAS/BODMAS. Each activity has a detailed answer sheet with it. Furthermore, on each sheet there is an optional speed challenge - perfect for building up fluency.
Bronze level – Brackets, Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction.
Silver Level – introduces indices and square roots.
Gold Level – introduces decimals.
Included in this bundle are three complete suites of Gap Analysis / Question Level Analysis grids for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 KS2 SATs.
Every paper, every question.
Grids change colour depending on whether questions have been answered correctly and the grids auto calculate scores, indicating pass/fail or greater depth.
Please see individual resources for more details.
Designed to easily fit into an exercise book without folding, this activity sheet focuses on the national expectations for children with regards to 3D polygons. An editable version has been included for you to adapt the activity to your class, if required. Additionally, a robust answer sheet is included.
Children will need to:
-Name each 3D polygon
Identify the number of faces
Identify the number of vertices
Identify the number of edges
