Complete lesson on mangroves. The lesson looks at: What are mangroves? What is the global distribution of mangroves? Why have mangroves been destroyed? Why are mangroves important? It then finishes with a decision-making exercise, where students are given information about mangrove restoration in Indonesia, and they must plan a strategy for restoring areas of mangrove. There is a true/false plenary quiz at the very end. The lesson will easily last for 1 hour, and could be made to last longer.
