A 50 page booklet with information, activities and applied tasks that will inform and encourage students to develop their analysis and evaluation skills so distinction course work can be written. This unit is not in the two core text books for students so students will be able to refer to this when writing up their assignment work.
There are four PowerPoints that go with the booklet covering the main perceptions and theories which are engaging and interesting, allowing students to make their own notes. You are free to add to or adapt the booklet to best suit your own personal teaching style.

Four exam papers; Three 90 Mark exam paper testing students understanding of the Unit 1 Human Lifespan Development one covering the spec sections B1. Nature - Nurture, B2. Genetic Factors and B3. Environmental Factors using short and long questions and another covering , B4.Social and B5 Economic exam paper and one more covering Social factors, B5 Economic factors and B6. Major Life Events. They have an easy to follow mark scheme, which is student friendly, enables you to use this as a peer marking exercise, saving your time and is also an additional revision tool. One 80 mark exam paper to test the understanding of the content in Learning Aim C, again, with an easy to follow mark scheme to allow for peer marking

This is a Risk Assessment activity for Health and Social Care students. The first risk assessment in a Residential Home for Moving and Handling as well as Slips, Trips and Falls, is completed and can be part of an initial discussion, after the definition of Risk Assessment, Hazard, Risk and Control Measure. There are two video’s to watch.
This follows with a whole class activity, completing a risk assessment together, for a trip out, with some prompts
Finally, there is a paired activity is for students to demonstrate their understanding.

Six Mock exam papers for CTEC L3 HSC Unit 2 Equality & Diversity and easy to follow mark scheme, which allows for easy peer marking, cutting down on your marking time.
These papers are slightly harder than the actual exam as they were designed with only the sample paper as guidance, however, this prepared my students really well for the exam and they all sailed through!
