Princess Pat and Other Stories. Fingerplays and Activity Songs with Pictures

Storytelling and activity songs and rhymes have a long tradition, and at times, they have passed down from generation to generation. My ebook has more pictures than words in order to methodically introduce each movement and associate it with a spoken word. I use two kinds of pictures: pictures that tell a story or plot which can be discussed, and pictures showing motions that will be repeated throughout the activity songs and rhymes. They are detailed so it is not necessary to go back each time. In my ebook, you will find 5 popular activity rhythms with very detailed pictures of each gesture. You and your kids will be able to learn each finger/hand movement step by step, bringing enjoyment to both of you. Contents: Five Little Pigs Hickory Dickory Dock Princess Pat You might ask why you should buy books with fingerplays when there are so many free videos on YouTube. I believe that parents should define the development and entertainment of their children. Video content is entertainment, not a participatory game. It is created by somebody else, not the child, and grabs the attention of kids against their will. This book also provides instruction for the hand movements but gives the child the space for their own sense of creation. Hand gestures are not done for the child, but by the child. Here is a chance for kids to think, learn, and to try for themselves. Also, the ebook suggests more activities compared with simply repeating from an image on a screen. Kids can see all gestures step to step, try them and feel them. This gives them the chance to see themselves from the outside looking in, modifying when necessary to get it just right. This self-analyzing ability is an extremely important skill for their future lives.

Percussion Games for Kids: Fairy Tale with Musical Score. Rhythmic games with Tambourine

This e-book consists of 2 sections. The first is with the “3 Little Pigs” fairy tale. This game illustrates how any simple story or fairy tale can be accompanied by musical activity. The Three Little Pigs fairy tale with Musical Score was written using the Orff music approach. Each event in this story is accompanied by musical activity. Orff believed that each child should not be a passive listener, but an active co-creator. You and your kids can play using a percussion instrument musical set, and any other musical sounds you can come up with. The second part has games to be played with a tambourine. These games develop phonetic listening and kids’ rhythmic skills, which are required for reading and writing. My tambourine e-book helps develop both by developing phonetic listening in children. Children will play the tambourine to the beat of the music. Popular kids’ songs are written with an image of a tambourine and rhythmic notes at the word where they need to beat. You can accompany the child with a xylophone, piano, voice, etc. This great exercise develops phonetic listening, a sense of rhythm, and the simple playing of a musical instrument.

READ BY PICTURE. Simple Stories: Learn to Read

I call this series “Read by Picture” since I are targeting little readers. I offer the easiest way to make reading books with children a pleasure, even for those children who listen to reading reluctantly. With the usual type of reading, a child is a passive listener, while with “reading by picture”, he or she becomes an active participant. Even if children can already read, they are happy to read texts where some of the words are replaced by pictures and perceive it as a bonus or a prize. It is more important to receive such bonuses for children who are just starting to read, or for whom reading still requires effort. A small child can only voice words represented by pictures. This “reading” not only makes kids a full participant in the process but also teaches them to reconcile the words of the picture with other words in the sentence. Older children may try to read words from a vocabulary list that appears before the text. A child who has begun to read will be able to enjoy reading the entire text. If you are reading to your little one, please read slowly. Let your child think about the sentence, find the right word, and enjoy the reading process. Some words in this e-book are changed to pictures. Each story has a pictured vocabulary list at the beginning. Includes 7 simple stories understandable and relatable for kids. Great e-book for non-English speaking children to learn and remember new words in a fun game-based reading activity.

Usually, the kalimba is considered an adult instrument, but with my visual, your kids will easily begin to play as well. The easiest way to begin is to play with the letter notes. This sheet music e-book will help you begin to play music simply and easily, with no required knowledge of reading notes. If you are a beginner, playing by notes can be difficult.

The Wheels on the Bus. Fingerplay to Develop Fine Motor Skills

Enjoy and play the story about the wheels that go round and round, doors that open and shut, a horn that sounds and people who go up and down. This is a perfect popular activity song for early learning. It is great for singing aloud, so it is good for developing fine motor skills using finger-plays. My e-book has more pictures than words in order to methodically introduce each movement and associate it with a spoken word. I use two kinds of pictures: pictures that tell a story or plot which can be discussed, and pictures showing movements that will be repeated throughout the activity songs and rhymes. They are very detailed and have visuals for each gesture so it is not necessary to go back each time. This e-book provides instructions for the hand movements but gives the child the space for their own sense of creativity. Kids can see, step by step and a slow pace, all gestures, try them and feel them. This gives them the chance to see themselves from the outside looking in, modifying when necessary to get it just right. This self-analyzing ability is an extremely important skill for their future lives. Also I offer sheet music for Wheels on the Bus so you can accompany your kids, and play this melody on any kind of instrument including a toy one. It is easy to play for anyone! The melody has been simplified and now everybody will be able to play it without any previous musical knowledge.

This e-book was written to help the beginner, whether child or adult, learn to play music in a simple and easy way that requires no knowledge of reading music. Just by following the circles with letters, you will sound like an experienced musician. I made my sheet music large and as simple as possible. You’ll play cool kids songs by circles. No musical staff or notes. Playing music can be as simple and enjoyable as a game. Some songs were adapted for a one-octave instrument. That is why most songs are simplified. That is my goal to give you what’s necessary to play beautiful music while having fun. This e-book is just as suitable for the chromatic xylophone as it is for the diatonic. Most songs in this sheet music e-book can be played within one octave on the xylophone using only 8 notes. Several songs need 1.5 or 2 octaves or a 10-15 note xylophone. The 2 last songs require a chromatic xylophone since they have flat notes. For some melodies, I grouped circles to show the rhythm. Most songs are simple, popular and funny, some songs are Christian, they are perfectly suitable for a church choir or orchestra. Recommended for ages 3 and up. Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. If you have flat keys on your instrument, please use the classic music score for piano. Christmas Songs and Gospels for Kalimba. For Absolute Beginners: Number-coded Sheet Music

(0)
Are you a beginner who wants to play Christmas songs, hymns, folksongs, and spirituals but have never played music or cannot read sheet music? Don’t worry! With my simple, picture-based sheet music, you can start playing immediately. The songs and melodies have been adapted especially for beginners, using number-coded circles instead of musical staff or notes. The sheet music is suitable for 10-17 note kalimbas and the most modern kalimbas already have engraved numbers and letters representing the name of the notes. The notes become higher as you move away from the center and alternate from right to left. The songs cover two or three octaves and I use dots to indicate different octaves. The standard 17-note kalimba contains 3 octaves: a full 2nd small octave, a 3rd small octave, and 3 notes from the 4th small octave. The 2nd small octave goes from C4 to C5 and is depicted in my sheet music as simple numbers. The notes from the 3rd small octave have numbers with one dot above each number. The three notes C6, D6, and E6 in the 4th octave are indicated by numbers with two dots above them. The numbers and dots will help you to begin to play immediately. Follow the numbers and enjoy the music! Note: Some melodies have been changed and simplified for a diatonic range. Christmas songs are a unique music genre traditionally associated with the celebration of Christmas. They can be divided into several categories, including carols, hymns, and secular songs. Regardless of the specific type, Christmas songs are an important part of the holiday season for many people and are often enjoyed by families and friends as they come together to celebrate the occasion. This e-book includes 43 Christmasand gospel songs: Away in a Manger Christ Was Born on Christmas Day Desk the Halls Go, Tell It on the Mountain Jingle Bells Jolly Old Saint Nicholas Joy to the World! Traditional British Folk Songs for Tongue Drum or Handpan: Playing for Kids

(0)
Most of these melodies are rather unique compared to my other e-book with the most popular and simple kids’ songs “Tongue Drum Songbook for Beginner: Play Simple Kids Songs by Number”), but most of these songs will keep your audience listening with great interest and enjoyment. They are simple enough for any beginner musician, even one who has never played an instrument or read sheet music. You can play immediately just by following the numbers. I use numbers notation beside the classic music score system because most modern tongue drums have numbers engraved or painted on their keys, and because it is easier to play for absolute beginners who cannot read sheet music. Also, I added a QR code to all songs. Follow the link and listen to the rhythm before beginning to play. Most songs from this e-book are possible to play in one octave because a lot of tongue drums include and are tuned to involve the notes of the main octave. The steel tongue drums also called the tong drum, tank drum, gluck-o-phone, hapi, yoga drum, lotus, or mandala drum) and the handpan (also called the hank drum, UFO drum, zen drum, meditation, healing, or chakra drum) are quite modern musical percussion instruments.
