I love making resources which are differentiated, challenging and also engaging. All main tasks will be differentiated at least 3 ways and actual lessons will have solutions with them. 2 sets of starters, which will last a minimum of 12 lessons which are worth 28 marks in total. They focus on key skills in the new 9-1 Foundation GCSE to ensure that pupils can improve their raw score. The same questions are repeated for 6 lessons with the aim that at the end of the 6 lessons that they will be able to achieve the 14 marks.

In each PPT there are 6 individual starters (12 in total) in which the same 5 questions are repeated but just different values. These have been proven to ensure 5 topics are revisited at the beginning of lessons which are generally 2-3 marks each on an exam. Pupils like the repetition of the same questions each lesson and seeing progress from maybe being able to do 1 to doing all 5 at the end of the 6 lessons. Pupils really do see the benefit and a nice way to have a task ready on pupil entry to the classroom.

Does not go into too much detail such as from a diagram ect but a nice end of topic assessment to see what have been learnt. It is differentiated 4 ways and also each specific row gets more difficult as you go along it so each question offers a different challenge. Pupils always engaged when using this activity and can be used in exercise books or as an assessment poster task

It is coloured so each coloured is a different stage of working out Blue - Question Yellow - Stage 1 Red - Stage 2 Green - Solution It models how the pupils should be setting out this question in order for future questions. Pupils have been engaged with this and has worked well with revision and on a poster for pupils. Colours can be removed for the more able students
