Verbs-avoir is a worksheet designed to allow students to repeatedly go over the verb in the present tense. Activities include completing the verb table, translation and completing sentences. Students can fold over the completed verb to allow them to work from memory or look at the table if they need to. Les saisons-Seasons bookmarks is a sheet of bookmarks used to teach the weather, students complete the weather types to the seasons, can then be used as bookmarks or display.

This is an exemplar Lesson Plan for an OFSTED Good lesson, I used it to teach a group of year 10 student the near future tense. What should my year 7 Spanish students know by the end of year 7? I asked this question and made a list of all the topics covered over the year. There is also a writing task/project and a support sheet to help students to review and revise thier first year of learning Spanish. This is a helpful end of year consolidation task which allows you to assess where your students are and diagnose where they need support to be prepared for year 8.

A day trip is a work book for year 6- 8 students to use during a day trip to France. It has a variety of questions that will encourage students to read and write in French to answer them as well as ask questions to French people. All these activities can be completed on the day and filled into the workbook directly for reviewing/follow-up in a lesson. I have left spaces for you to add your own school logo and the logo of the town as well as a map of the town to indicate the main places and the meeting point

Pocket money is a reading activity with several exercises to check comprehension. Questions are designed to encourage the student to read the text and look for detail they include translation, tense recognition and gap-fill. I have used this with year 9 and above as revision of the topic and as a cover lesson as students can get on with the tasks with little or no support. The answers are included for self/peer or teacher marking.

Les saisons introduces the seasons with On peut + the infinitive verb and various activities that you can do in the season. The power-point version has the images entering on the touch to help with recognition and useful for practicing the phrases. I have used this with year 6 and year 7 students.

A one off presentation about the Tour de France, can be used to start a project on the TDF, inform students about a great French sporting event. Covers some geography of France and healthy eating habits of the cyclists.
