Opinions - cover work is a lesson plan and activity sheet to keep students busy for up to an hour. Designed so that you can just leave it with few instructions. For French learners KS3 who already have some understanding of the basics. Gap fill, word and sentence recognition, grammar reinforcement, translation and writing task. The answer sheet accompanies the worksheet to allow cover supervisor, self or peer checking.

This resource is introducing food items available in the supermarket using the "On peut" + infinitive constructions. It contains vocabulary lists, images and words presenting the vocabulary for drilling. Activities to use the new vocabulary, grammar explanation of "On peut" + infinitive with activities and a translation with step by step support. The power-point version has the images and words animated for repetition and memory skills, the PDF version does not allow this. I have used this with year 8 students and year 9 bottom sets for revision. I hope you find this useful.

This worksheet uses the topical theme of Pancake day to practice using il faut + the infinitive, it has activities including a gap-fill, recognition of words and sentence structure, translation, grammar guidance and find the French. There are extra tasks to keep those students who work through it at a faster pace, or you may wish to use the extra tasks for differentiation. I have used this with year 8 students for cover work and also for when I am assessing spoken French as students can work independently through the tasks with minimum guidance. I have included the answer sheet for self/peer checking.
