I have created this escape room for the end of year, to still be able to have students working but to do something a bit more fun with them.
The escape room has 10 puzzles that students have to solve. Give them the first one and check that they have the correct code, then keep giving them in order as they complete each one.
The topics that the 10 puzzles cover are:
Food
Clothes
Means of transport
Body parts
Mix (family, personality, what you do at the weekend using near future tense)
Hair & eyes
Connectives and time expressions
Town and region
The time
Mix (general knowledge of vocab such as pets, animals, subjects, verbs, etc).
It is an ideal activity for years 7 and 8. It could also work with some year 9 groups (mixed ability, bottom sets).
The resource comes with 4 files:
1 Escape Room (PPT) with instructions in English.
1 Escape Room (PPT) with instructions in Spanish (up to you which one you think will work with your groups.
2 pdfs (both PPTs made pdfs)
The resource is completely editable, so if you want to change, add, edit anything to fit your needs, you are able to do so.
This homework booklet includes different activities for the different lessons of Viva 2 - Module 5 - Operación Verano.
It includes:
Vocab page with everything they need to know from M5, including grammar points about how to conjugate verbs in the present, preterite and near future tenses.
Instructions on how to use the booklet

Lesson 2 - ¿Qué se puede hacer en…? - 4 activities
Lesson 3 - ¿Dónde está? - 3 activities
Lesson 4 - Campamentos de verano - 3 activities

The booklet is thought for students to be able to choose how much they want to do, with all of them attempting at least the first activity and deciding if they would like to go any further. However, I include the file as a PPT (as well as PDF) so if this is not something you would like to do you can always edit the document to your liking).
The design is in black and white to cut down on printing costs.

This is a booklet I have created for low ability groups. I basically give them a list of vocab that we have already seen in class and then they design a booklet for a partner. Then, they do their partners work and when they finish they swap back and mark their work. It keeps them doing something and they like to create work for someone else… Also they enjoy the marking!
This is a 17-pages workbook I have created for my Year 12 students this year according to the new exam and specification given by Edexcel.
Having a look at the sample materials, I have realised the way they ask questions have changed a little bit. They are not asked their opinion on something irrelevant, it is always something to do with the Spanish or Latin American cultures. For example, they are not asked "Do you like music?" but "What do you think about Spanish music?". Following this I have created this booklet which includes questions on all topics and a brief explanation of the exam.
This is a booklet I have created for my Year 8 students of French. With this resource they can revise Module 2 (expo 2 rouge) but it could be used on its own as it includes all the vocab. It covers the following topics:
* Television vocab and expressions
* Regular and irregular verbs in the past
* Some connectives
* Some time expressions
* Some opinions
The booklet contains 13 exercises in total, such as reading, translation, vocab activities or writing.
Hope it helps!
