This is a lesson I have created for module 7, unit 2 (Mis prácticas laborales). We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. As I wanted to cover a variety of things for this particular unit, I split it in two lessons, and they include: An overview of what we will be studying every lesson of M7 A starter task (x2) A variety of activities (vocab, reading, listening, etc). A sentence builder to talk about work experience Translation activities (both ways) writing task with instructions and steps to section their writing task (I advice them to use 4 different steps - see picture). Preterite and imperfect (explanation and activities) Homework (x2) All answers included and embedded in Power Point. The document is a Power Point file and completely editable. IMPORTANT: please be aware that this is a lesson to use alongside the textbook. All activities are my own creation based on the vocab of the higher textbook (pages 158-159). I cannot provide the listening files, those must be purchased from the exam boards.

This resource includes: A Power Point presentation (for teachers) to show students with information about the festival of Las Fallas (Valencia, Spain). In the Power Point students will learn about the origin, the building of the structures and the most important events taking part place during the festival. There are 15 activities for students to complete, including genuine reading, listening (through videos) and translation into both English and Spanish. It is an editable document and all answers are embedded. Some extension work provided. There is also a homework task. There is a Power Point (for students) which doesn’t show any answers and that you can send directly to the printer. Also both Power Points are included in pdf format. There are also links to videos and a Quizley set for students to practice with 40 words from the lesson.

This is a lesson I have created for module 6, punto de partida 1. We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. This lesson includes: A starter task that focuses on how to tell the time in Spanish. GRAMMAR: reflexive verbs. There is one slide with all the information, a follow up one with verb tables and follow up activities, including genuine reading. A variety of activities (vocab, translation, reading, etc). Homework. All answers included and embedded in Power Point. This is a lesson for Dynamo 3 - Module 1 (Mon monde à moi), Unit 2 (Amis pour toujours!). This lesson is aimed at a mixed ability group, therefore I have tried to keep the lesson simple and the activities not too difficult. This lesson covers talking about describing yourself and your friends and using the verbs avoir and être. This lesson includes: Vocab A variety of activities (vocab, translation, reading, etc). For the wheel activity, show the ppt in full screen and sping the wheel by clicking on the centre. Each category is worth a different amount of points. Ask students to translate the sentence that they get after spinning and if they do it correctly, award them the points. The wheel is also editable so you can change the sentences if you want. Lessons are completely editable and all answers are included. No homework included as there is a homework booklet to go with this module. This is a lesson I have created for my GCSE students to get familiar with the role play task. To begin with, we look at question words and their translation into English. Then, I explain to them the difference between qué and cuál, which is often confunsing for them. Afterwards, students attempt 5 different role plays on a mix of different topics. This lesson includes a starter, plenary and homework task. The file is a PPT so it is completely editable. All answers and model answers embedded in PPT.
