15 page printable revision booklet with a revision sheet for each of the 15 Power and Conflict Poems. Each revision sheet contains high-level analysis of the key quotations from the poem. A02 and A03 are embedded into the explanations. Also includes a ‘because, but, so’ summary of every poem. The ‘because, but, so’ method is an excellent tool for teaching students to think analytically about each poem in the Power and Conflict anthology. This tool is powerful because it encourages students to expand their thinking with precision and detail. After studying each poem, I ask students to write a ‘because, but, so’ paragraph on it. I have collated my annotations for all 18 Eduqas poems onto one PowerPoint. Each slide is animated with the annotations appearing with each mouse click to work through each poem chronologically. Naturally, teachers will want to adapt the annotations to suit the abilities of their students but this PowerPoint acts as a great starting point. The annotations were aimed at lower ability sets working towards grades 4 and 5. 2 high level model example responses to the AQA Language Paper 2 Question 5 June 2024 paper. One response primarily agrees with the statement and argues young people should choose a career that benefits society. The second response offers a more nuanced argument that primarily disagrees with the statement in the question. Both follow a 6 paragraph structure which start with a personal anecdote to hook the reader. Both explore the issue from ethical, moral and financial perspectives. Both contain an element of counter argument. Both use a cyclical structure at the end to return to the ideas expressed in the opening.

2 high level model answers for the AQA Language Paper 2 June 2022 paper. The question was about holidays. Response A primarily agrees with the statement while response B ostensibly disagrees with it. Both answers have been written in a deliberate attempt to meet the criteria for the top band of the markscheme.
