Food and Drink Ideal for cover, revision, homework, class work, this ‘food and drink’ resource contains a 6-page workbook in French, a 9-slide presentation, 42 picture and words cue cards, a bi-lingual food vocabulary list as well as a double-sided sheet on suggestions for use and differentiation. The workbook features tasks to practise vocabulary, gently guiding the learner from simple words to sentences and finally longer paragraphs to consolidate what they have learnt. There is a creative task to ‘make’ and describe your own pizza in French at the end. The presentation slides feature most of the tasks from the work book. Some tasks focus on grammar, i.e. the formation of the French past tense and how to fit more information into sentences. One set of cue cards features the pictures from the work book and the other set contains the words. These cue cards can be used for matching activities, games such as snap and pairs and many more. The presentation slides are kept simple and merely feature a picture per slide, with all pictures from the work book included here too.
