A series of project packs for 5-11 created by 6 Cardiff Primary Schools to initiate project work with their partner schools in Somaliland. These resources focus particularly on ESDGC themes and the new Skills Framework and could be easily adapted to fit short or long term partnership projects with schools in any country.

The resource which includes teacher notes is rich in pictures and the activities allow pupils to develop their historical skills. There are four activities with several contexts to each activity – 1. History Trails – play snakes and ladders and learn about the age 2. Evidence Detective –answer questions after studying pieces of evidence 3. Spy Mission – find the clues and write a report 4. Timeline Quiz – answer questions and avoid losing your money
The resource pack contains four topics; Fi fy hun, Dillad, Bwyd and Anifeiliad. Each topic consists of downloadable sound files and picture files and a collection of interactive whiteboard resources.

By the end of this lesson students should:
