This is a Powerpoint presentation that can be used to introduce solving trigonometric equations at A Level. It assumes that students have been introduced to the basic trigonometric graphs the lesson before. The first slides gives the objectives for the lesson. There is a recap of the trigonometric graphs followed by a step-by-step guide to solving trigonometric equations, illustrated graphically. There is an extension activity provided for more able students, inviting them to investigate the general solutions of trigonometric equations.
