The resource is made up of a seven-page dictation pack which includes a list of the Year 3 and Year 4 statutory spellings, 87 dictation sentences all of which contain the statutory spellings and a 101 slide PowerPoint presentation to introduce the task and to assess pupils’ understanding. This is a comprehensive unit of work with enough dictation spellings to cover the whole academic year. Exercises are split into Autumn Term, Spring Term and Summer Term as can be seen in the PowerPoint preview. As with all our materials, the PowerPoint is fully editable so sentences on the slides can be personalised, differentiated or tweaked to suit your specific teaching needs.
