Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, as described in the New Testament of the Bible. It is considered the most important event in Christianity and is observed by Christians worldwide. Easter Sunday, also known as Resurrection Sunday, marks the culmination of Holy Week, which includes events such as Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Last Supper), and Good Friday (Crucifixion). The date of Easter varies each year and is determined by the lunar calendar, falling on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox. In addition to its religious significance, Easter has also become associated with various secular traditions such as egg hunts, Easter baskets, and the Easter Bunny, which symbolize themes of renewal, rebirth, and new life.
