Writing, reading and colouring resource

Once Upon My Book injects fun and interaction into both writing and reading by enabling your pupils to be the ‘author’ of their very own book. Through tracing the shape of letter outlines to form words and then sentences, colouring in illustration outlines and adding their own personal touches, your pupils can really be at the centre of their very own book. All the words in *Once Upon My Book *that your pupils trace and learn to read are written in the precursive style taught in many schools. Each story also contains High Frequency Words and tricky words from the Letters and Sounds. This helps pupils become familiar with writing, reading and learning these important words, reinforcing and building on the teaching done at school in a fun and exciting way. Suitable for Reception, Year 1 and SEN pupils.
