A great activity pack of worksheets for students to explore, analyse and devise characters. The pack uses the Role On The Wall method of character analysis, which involves writing descriptive words, facts and assumptions about a character in and around a body outline. This pack encourages students to use the Role On The Wall method in various forms to explore and interpret different characters from stories, books, plays and films. This activity pack is suitable for students aged 9+ and can be used as a distanced learning pack, for home work, or for pair work or independent study in the classroom.
This short script is a mini performance of the narrative poem, Matilda (who told lies and was burned to death) by Hilaire Belloc. This drama unit turns the poem into an improvised performance, using mime, prepared dialogue, movement, sound and narrators who read the poem aloud and link all of the scenes together. The pack contains a detailed lesson plan that creates a great mini performance for juniors for a school assembly, a poetry topic day, or an end of term showcase.
