I have written 150 Sample Questions based on the Sample Paper released for the new KS1 SATs in 2016. A full new sample paper also included that I have written. At the bottom of each page there is a number 1-18. This number refers to the question type it is based on from the Sample Grammar Paper released by the Standards and Testing Agency UK. The words in the Spelling Test are words/type from the new English Spelling Curriculum for KS1. I wrote the questions so they can easily be cut into separate questions and laminated as single questions. (Can be used as class or homework question cards). They can also be used as full question pages. I have them as single questions for the students to take home or answer in during class practice. I also give them full question pages. The questions are written as they appear in the sample paper. Guided Reading Cards A set of cards that can be used with any narrative texts. I laminate each of the cards and allow children to write their answers on the cards. They select the cards at random and them answer the question (verbally or written) based on the text that has been read.

Guided Reading Comprehensions A set of 10 Early Reading Comprehensions. Simple language used, including key words, for children to read. There is then three questions based on each text and a large space for students to write their answers. Can be used with more able Reception Children and Year 1 and 2 Students. Also included are reading activity sheets that the children can complete based on the texts in the pack or they can use these to answer questions on any narrative text. Aligned with reading outcomes from the New National Curriculum. I laminated the reading activity sheets and children selected their own books and answered the questions in the activity.
