Here are two Gingerbread House themed “How To” writing activities to use during your Gingerbread Man studies. Great for a STEM activity – have them make a house with materials provided after they write about it. “How to Build a Gingerbread House” is 3 pages long and walks your students through the process of procedural writing. Page 1 asks them to simply sketch their gingerbread house. Page 2 Asks them to write or draw the materials needed and explain how to build it with first, next, then and last prompts.
