Monster Themed I Have...Who Has Game Template * Editable

This is a monster themed I Have...Who Has Game Template. You use this template to type in your own content and print the game. This is an editable pdf if you have Adobe Acrobat Professional. Or, you may choose to simply print and write on the cards. I've included instructions how to type on the cards yourself, using Adobe Acrobat Professional, to make your own games. There are 8 different monster cards to make the game as a loop, where it does not matter who starts. However, I did include a START and END card if you wish to format your game in that way. One set of cards has color monster clip art on a white background for economical printing. The second set of cards is the same, but with B&W monsters for photocopying. If you need more cards, simply save this as different file names to work on. These cards are made as 1 to a full page. When printing, you can choose the option to print 4 to a page which makes these a great game size and saves ink.

Knuffle Bunny Inspired Art and Storytelling Activity

My elementary students love the Knuffle Bunny series, so we decided to use the illustrative technique ourselves. In this packet you will get directions for the activity and two full-sized playground pictures ready to photocopy in black and white. The students make colorful cartoon characters to put into the setting and tell a story about their illustration. I've included a scan of the reproducible I purposely drew by hand for the students. This took the fear of drawing out of the activity. Many even came up and added more to the projected copy for the class to see! Main directions are in PDF and the pictures are in a PowerPoint file.

How to Make a Snowman with Super 3 PowerPoint

Everyone likes to make a snowman!! This is an exciting introduction to the Super 3 Research Process for your Kindergarten-2nd grade students. During an excellent snow year, my husband and I went outside and made an awesome snowman following the steps of the Super 3: Plan, Do, Review. We ran into problems to solve along the way, too! Use this PowerPoint to introduce your students to the process. At the end of the lesson, let them make their own snowmen! I've had students make snowmen on a computer drawing program, with paper and glue, and on black paper with chalks. I found snowman parts to print with a simple Google search and cut them out for my special education students to make a snowman. They still got to plan because they had to choose the parts and how to glue them on. So many ways to make a snowman! I left it editable if you want to add your own twist to the presentation!

Easy center idea for upper elementary students. I have used this successfully with 3rd graders in my Media Center. They LOVE being able to research a topic of THEIR choice! This reproducible gives students a structured research process for them to follow using an ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA entry. They are guided to pick a topic, ask questions about it, locate the online encyclopedia your school uses, write notes on the back, and write the bibliographic information for their article. Makerspace - Poetry Performance using Green Screen

(0)
I have found that my elementary students need a little bit of structure and accountability during their Makerspace time in my elementary library. Thus, this kit addresses that need by giving them a structure via a Mission sheet that they guides them, gives them time limits (set by you), and assesses their group work with a rubric. This Makerspace Bundle has the printables you need for a Poetry Performance Green Screen Makerspace Center in which students create a video by performing their own poem or one of their choice in front of the green screen. In a nutshell, students use the Mission Log sheet to guide them through the process of procuring, practicing, and performing their poem in front of the green screen. The student instruction handouts help them to figure out how to produce their videos independently without you needing to hold their hand every step of the way. Finally, they write a review statement, fill out a rubric on their individual performances with you, and share their video. The technology I use in this kit includes a green screen and an iPad with the DoInk (TM) Green Screen app (a minimal fee in the iTunes store). A lot of the resources come in an editable format so that you can make them your own depending on your environment and needs. 1. Materials list 2. Poetry Mission Log - This is a Step-by-Step Instruction Sheet for the students to follow at the center. It follows the Plan, Do, Review format. There are two versions that differ in the type of Review you'd like to have your students do. I've included both as a PDF and as Editable Excel documents should you need to make changes to fit your situation. 3. 2 Page How to Make Your Video Handout for students (PDF and editable PPT file) 4. Poetry Performance I Can Poster 5. Finding a Poem Poster (PDF & Editable PPT file) 6. Makerspace Rubric (PDF & editable versions) I created this rubric as a way to hold students accountable for their time. It includes the goals of: staying on task, being responsible, producing quality work, working cooperatively, and cleaning up. Again, I've included an editable Excel file should you wish to make changes. 7. Poetry Performance Rubric - Easily gives you a grade by scoring posture, volume, speed, expression and memorization. (PDF & editable Excel file)

I have found that my elementary students need a little bit of structure and accountability during their Makerspace time in our Media Center. Thus, this kit addresses that need by giving them a structure via a Mission sheet that they guides them, gives them time limits (set by you), and assesses their group work with a rubric. They still have all the Creativity that is the cornerstone of Makerspace, but with some accountability! This Makerspace Bundle has the printables you need for a Construction Makerspace Center in which students build a structure of their choice. In a nutshell, students use the Mission Log sheet to plan and build. Then, they incorporate technology by taking and printing a picture of their creation. The student instruction handouts help them to figure out and do this independently without you needing to hold their hand. Finally, they write a review statement about their creation and post their items on the Makerspace Sharing Board or publish it in the class Makerspace Book. You will need to provide building materials whether they be commercial block kits or recycled materials. ***A lot of the printables come in an editable format so that you can make them your own depending on your environment and needs. 1. Building Center Materials list 2. Building Mission Log - This is a Step-by-Step Instruction Sheet for the students to follow at the center. It follows the Plan, Do, Review format. There are two versions that differ in the type of Review you'd like to have your students do. I've included both as a PDF and as Editable Excel documents should you need to make changes to fit your situation. 3. Information on Sharing and Publishing 4. A Class Makerspace Notebook Cover 5. I Can Statements Poster 6. Idea Starter Poster 7. iPad Printing Instruction Handout (PDF & editable versions) 8.
