Prefixes Clip Cards

These clip cards are a great way for students to practice adding prefixes to root words. 32 cards are included; each card has three possible answers. Students select the correct answer by clipping a clothespin, peg or paper clip to it. I like to laminate these cards so students can simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. These cards are great for talk partner work, think-pair-share or in a tough spot. Alternatively, you can print these on paper to hand out to your class at the end of the lesson; pupils circle the correct answer and hand in as a great exit ticket or plenary to the lesson. These are perfect for KS1 pupils but may be helpful for your lower KS2 pupils too. I like to laminate these as they can be used with clips or with dry erase felt tips.
