This is a presentation on Florence Nightingale, the pioneering nurse who fought for more hygienic hospital conditions during the Crimean War. There is an attached PowerPoint with the story to help you make the assembly more visual. The plan is easy to follow, so is perfect for using at the last minute! I like leading assemblies that are interactive, engaging and relevant to the children’s lives. So this assembly involves an anecdote linked to Christmas today.
