Functional Skills Maths L2 Revison Test
A fun way for your students to practice for their L2 test. 20 exam style Task Cards each card includes a link to return to a help slide. Having reviewed the examiners reports for functional skills and noticing common misconceptions in class I have put together 20 Functional Skills Maths revision questions at Level 1. They are functional skills questions answered incorrectly covering common areas such as scale drawing, averages to name but a few.
The learners have to answer correctly and explain why Barry was wrong. This has worked really as it allows the students to see common mistakes and misconceptions and for them to correct them. By explaining the errors they spot it promotes higher order thinking.
