All required content and skills from the syllabus are listed in table format for students to use to revise and summarise work and add relevant source information. Focus questions for writing practice are also included. Use of this tool will thoroughly prepare students for examinations.

Based on the Board of Studies key word definitions, these are posters for classroom displays to explain the meaning of key instructional words for communication tasks (written and spoken). Suited to ALL subject areas (especially HSIE and English) for Years 7-12. Designed to enhance literacy and writing skills as well as spoken communication skills.

Tutorial and revision aid for Year 12 Ancient History "Cities of Vesuvius" unit with the names of some of the architectural features that students will need to know for the HSC exam and related learning activities.

A dynamic learning activity that keeps students moving to make learning more fun and interesting as students 'speed-date' information about various aspects of the Industrial Revolution to complete a work sheet. Follow up questions and a modified version for students with literacy learning needs is included. Instructions are on the activity-provided in Word and PDF (because sometimes the layout of word changes from computer to computer).

Year 12 HSC half yearly examination covering core topic "Cities of Vesuvius" + Ancient Society- Sparta + Personality in the times- Hatshepsut + Historical Period- New Kingdom Egypt to the Death of Thutmose IV. Related marking rubric also attached. This could be used as an a formal assessment task or exam or as a revision aid.

A mapping of China activity related to the Depth Study 3- Ancient China. It includes geographical information and embedded literacy and numeracy as well as the historical concepts of change and continuity in terms of comparison then and now.

Explores Muslim religion and aspects of Islamic culture to debunk the myths. Explore the legacies of Islamic culture and the rights and some of the freedoms within the cultures of Islam. The aim of this information is to develop tolerance and understanding and respect for diversity.

Various tutorial information and related worksheets and exercises investigating the concepts and importance of heritage and conservation.

Part of the Historical Period option "New Kingdom Egypt to the Death of Thutmose IV". A timeline activity for the main information for foundation of the 18th Dynasty and the founding of the New Kingdom Period. Works as a complement to Antiquity 2 textbook but can work on its own or another textbook because of the word box. This timeline summaries many pages of the textbook and also provides modelling to students on how to summarise to create manageable study notes.

Mature content suited to Year 10 upwards- graphic photographs of the Vietnam that were beamed into homes at the time via television and helped to fuel growing opposition to the war. Also useful for impacts of the war.

Designed for my Year 10 History class but it would be suitable for other high school year groups and other subjects than history (e.g. Science, Geography and English). The idea with this is to get students to engage with topic information in textbooks or other sources and then turn this into a structured lesson. Teacher instructions and lesson planning worksheets are included.
