This editable Science PowerPoint lesson can be used as an introduction to studying the topic of Forces. Suitable for KS1 and lower KS2. It introduces force as a simple concept of push and pull; lets pupils explore the movements of objects when force is applied; invites pupils to measure the force of carrying an object using a force/Newton meter. The lesson has plenty of opportunities for independent learning and exploration. It comes with an investigation template and a worksheet with a Venn diagram for sorting forces into push, pull or both. For this lesson you will need: 1.
