Play Leader Activity Cards
Using Play Leaders to keep children active during break times is fantastic as there are so many benefits, including, but not limited to:
Increasing physical activity levels of children during break times.
Providing more opportunities for children to be active.
Increasing interaction between children in different year groups.
Teaching children skills and introducing them to new sports and games.
However, we do need to remember that Play Leaders are still children and will need some support with what games & activities to teach. These 20 games, activities and challenges are simple to follow and require the use of minimal equipment, making them ideal for your Leaders.
Quick Packs: 10 Orienteering Activities
On the curriculum? Yes.
Know where to start? No idea!
Like many schools, orienteering often pops up on medium and long term plans, but - generally - it is the activity that is skipped.
We all know how important orienteering can be for our children - but us teachers often find it difficult to come up with fun and engaging activities to teach Orienteering.
If that’s the case, this quick pack is perfect for you.

Play Leaders Activity Cards (Autumn 2 Term)
Each Term includes 24 activity cards, 6 competition cards (along with recording sheets, certificates and sticker templates) and timetables.
Although there will be some altering, we factor in the time of the year when deciding the majority of the activities & competitions for each term.
For example, you will find more summer sports activities / field games in the summer, like cricket, rounders, netball, tri-golf, and more winter sports / playground games in the Autumn, like tag games, rugby, football, basketball.
