Hello and thanks for popping by. I am currently working in a fantastic SEN school. I have worked teaching little minds from EYFS to 18 years old. I have taught inner city, EAL, high FSM/PP, and across many ages in different role. I love working with children! I hope my resources manage to save time and encourage children to think creatively. The children I have taught so far have loved them and I hope yours do too. Thanks for viewing or buying and please leave reviews if you find the time.

I created this resource by printing and gluing onto brown card. I then laminated and cut out each cookie and placed into a plastic jar. I have used these in tuff spots and for teacher inputs. Thank you for downloading and if you find the time please leave a review.

This resource can be used as a visual aid to support students with their phonics. The power point can be used by showing the first slide to the students on an interactive white board and pressing on either the pictures or sounds to practice handwriting. My students enjoy following the sound with their fingers to or using foam and me role modeling the sound of the day. Thank you for downloading if you find the time please leave a review.

This resource can be used to support phonics and handwriting. To use just click the sound on the first slide and use on an interactive white board to role model writing each sound/ letter. The students will be able to practice both the upper case and lower case letter. The students can also use this themselves by following each letter with their finger. I also enjoy using this with foam on the tables so students can practice sensory writing. Thank you for downloading and if you find the time please leave a review.

These can be used alongside my noun town resources. These worksheets enable students to write initial sounds or a list of nouns. I also encourage my students to write sentences based on what they can see and extend their sentences using adjectives. Thank you for downloading and if you find the time please leave a review.

Perfect to use if your students are learning the alphabet or phonemes. I have used this by enlarging to A3 and laminating. This enables me to use the resource both inside and out. Students I have taught like to try and write the letter using chalk and use a paint brush to trace the letter afterwards. Thank you so much for downloading and if you find the time please leave a review.

Place value and numbers as words activities

This resource can be used in multiple ways. The place value activity allows children to work practically with dienes to draw and recognise place value. It will also allow children to recognise the given place value in a number- for example just highlighting the hundreds, tens or ones. The numbers as words resource also covers odd and even numbers and allows children to match the numbers to each word. The word mats/ charts and card can be laminated and placed into a tuff spot tray or organised as a class group as part of a hide and seek activity.

Thank you for downloading if you find the time please leave a review. How to use: These were designed to be made into keyrings however can be used for a display. I use these with a poppet style/ fidget pencil case to support a child in my class. To make the keyring version I reduced the sheets down from A4 to A5. These can be laminated back-to-back and the child can use a whiteboard pen with these to help support when they are in the different zones. Please select the yellow zone you feel would suit your child more. For the feel card version, I brought some sensory stickers to place onto the reverse part of the card. The purple box is highlighted on each card to show which activity is on the back of the card. I also used a split pin for the arrow on the front zone of regulation colourful card so the child can show how they are feeling throughout the day.

Strengths and Characteristics board game

Strengths and Characteristics board game

There are multiple ways to play this game. When you land on a word you can use words or a picture to describe what it means. If you are unsure see if you can search the meaning of the word using an iPad or laptop. To make it more fun see if you can research the word in less than one minute or see if another player can research the word faster than you can. OR When you land on a word read the word and if you think it is a strength you have write it on the person, if you don’t thing it’s your strength write it on the cross. If you think this might be another person’s strength share the idea with them. OR Make your way around the board and write down each word you land on. When you get to the end look at your list and see if you can pick a word and say how you can use it at some point in the week. E.G Organised- I will make sure I remember to bring my pencil case to every lesson. Thank you for taking the time to download if you find the time please leave a review.
