This lesson begins with Do Now task, asking student what they know about healthy eating, for AFL purposes. The lesson simply focuses on what healthy eating is and introduces how many calories per day. The lesson displays popular foods and the calorie intake. I have listed challenge questions for students to adapt meals, to encourage deeper thinking (this can be extended). The lesson contains a plenary, to find out what students now know about healthy eating. The lesson is in CIP to reinforce students understanding. This lesson has been created for students with SEND.

I made this to explain to my students who is the Prime Minister, what the role of the Prime Minister is, and to explain what a law is in simple context. The learning objective is to explain what the government does. Independent and groups tasks. Plenary at the end. Use of images to help understanding.
