This PowerPoint contains a selection of choice tasks for students to complete. Simply copy a slide into your own PowerPoint and adapt it so it fits in with your lesson. I have found pupils really appreciate having choice and generally they are good at picking tasks which match their own level.

This resource contains different worksheets that you could use with your students to demonstrate that they are making progress throughout the lesson. I have laminated a class set and just randomly hand them out for students to use - that way they get variation from lesson to lesson.
