This is a comprehensive lesson on the French FUTUR ANTÉRIEUR tense. This is an 18 minute video lesson in which I explain and illustrate how to form the futur antérieur as well as how and when to use this tense. The illustrations are very clear and all examples are in written form. At the end of the video I talk students through a 10 question quiz in which they must decide whether to use the futur antérieur or the futur simple. All of the questions and answers are clearly written for students to see.
A version of the video lesson included in this bundle is on YouTube. However, this one is for you to use with your students and it is not the same. In your version of the video lesson there is no reference made to my website or to supporting my work in any way. This video lesson is entirely appropriate for your students with no marketing for Love Learning Languages included other than on the title page where the name of my store is written.
❖ Advanced French Grammar: 50 Challenge Cards using TOUT ❖
4 page grammar lesson with examples, 50 challenge cards, 50 cards with grammar explanations, and quiz/worksheet.
This resource will provide your intermediate to advanced students with a good way to practice and review the many ways to use TOUT in French. A lot of resources only include basic information and exercises using TOUT as an adjective. Sometimes it is difficult to find a resource that mixes up all of the many different ways to use TOUT, and when to pronounce the S on TOUS. For example, “Ils sont tous contents” means “They are all happy” while “Ils sont tout contents” means “They are very happy.”
The following ways to use TOUT are covered in this resource:
⭐As an adjective: TOUT - TOUS - TOUTE - TOUTES
⭐With adjectives: TOUT - TOUTE - TOUTES
⭐With adverbs and expressions: TOUT
⭐As a pronoun: TOUT - TOUS - TOUTES
Here’s what is included:
50 sentence exercise (multiple choice and fill in the blank versions)
4 pages of grammar notes and examples
Three sets of cards are included. One has sentences with blanks and multiple choice answers. These cards include the answer written upside down at the bottom of the cards. This will allow students an opportunity to either work individually or in small groups and check their work as they go. A PDF with one card per page is included if you prefer not to print and either project to do a whole class activity or have students work on computers or tablets.
Another set is identical, but these cards don’t include the answers at the bottom.
A third set includes the correct answer, an English translation, and a grammar explanation also in English so that students will know exactly why this is the response. A one card per page PDF is included for these cards as well.
I’ve laminated my cards so that I can pull them out time and again for a quick review on the many ways to use TOUT. There are enough of them that students won’t necessarily see the same ones over and over every time you pull them out. Great for test review or for seniors after a long break.
Activities to use and challenge your students in the French classroom when teaching French numbers 0 - 100. Simple addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication will keep them on their toes while thinking of the answers using French numbers! Save 20%.
Buy 2 and get one free with this unique PASSÉ COMPOSÉ and IMPARFAIT task cards bundle. Each set includes 30 task cards that you can use in a number of ways with your students. Practice the passé composé all by itself, then the imparfait all by itself before ultimately combining the two with these 3 sets of task cards (individually priced at $5.25 each).
These cards offer an excellent opportunity to see the many ways in which we can use the passé composé as opposed to the imparfait. There's a nice mixture of common regular and irregular verbs to work with. For the passé composé there are verbs using both avoir and être as helping verb. An answer key is provided.
Students can work with a partner as a cooperative activity and to practice speaking or they can work individually to practice writing. Task cards are a nice alternative to worksheets which can sometimes seem tedious or boring.
Just print, cut out and laminate these cards and you're ready to go, no prep for years to come! If you look in the upper left corner you'll see a space where you can neatly punch a hole in each card and then connect them with a keyring. This really makes using these task cards easy enough to decide on using at the drop of a hat, and they make for fantastic review.
