All questions ask Qui… Sample answer: Jean-Claude a repassé les chemises. Questions are in present, passé compose or futur proche.

Sudoku game uses the 9 Halloween words: pumpkin, black cat, ghost, witch, candy, haunted house, vampire, monster, skeleton. This version of Sudoku uses pictures, English and German. This approach makes the student think about the meaning in each square and so helps students to learn the vocabulary faster.
Worksheet has pictures of 28 clocks. Students are to write out what time it is. Title is in French and may easily be changed. Worksheet has pictures only and so may be used for any language; you may want to split it into 2 pages for lower level classes.

This is a partner activity. Students take turns guessing squares in order to find the opponent’s ships. In order to guess a square, the student must correctly give the time [hours are in the left column and minutes are across the top]. Winner is the first student to find and sink all 5 of his opponent’s ships.
There are two dot to dot pictures with the letters of the alphabet. Student A has a list of letters that he slowly reads out loud to student B. B listens carefully and connects the dots in the order he is told. Partners then exchange roles. Can be used for any language with the Roman alphabet.
