Hello all! I'm Jinky, a primary maths teacher and Maths Academic Coordinator at Beaconhouse Yamsaard Rangsit, Thailand. One of my joy is to find time to take photos of anything I think interesting. If I am not chasing cats or taking photos, I am busy with putting pieces together and come up with colourful banners, borders for paper, numbers and alphabet. I am offering discounts for my resources from time to time. So, please check out my page. 'Thank you' for stopping by.

Teaching students the difference between a pint and quart may be challenging. From something as small as a matchbox to something as large as a swimming pool. An object's volume can be gauged through various units. Litres and cubic centimetres are two different ways of measuring volume. Students need to memorise some simple formulas to perform the task. This presentation is great to teach your pupils how to convert units of volume and capacity. Hope you find it useful.

As a primary maths teacher, I truly believe using colours in the learning environment. I believe that colours provide unthreatening surroundings that improves visual processing, reduces stress and promote active learning. I always encourage my pupils to do their best when doing their worksheets and projects and reward them by putting them on display either on the Maths board or classroom. These two photos were used as displays during our previous Open House show.

The concept of number bonds is very basic, an important foundation for understanding how numbers work. A whole thing is made up of parts. This poster has very helpful for my pupils and great as a time filler. Number bonds let children see the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction. I have laminated the numbers, stick them on the poster and let the children guess the missing numbers. Hope this gives you an idea for your number bond lesson.
