This is a revision booklet that I use with my GCSE students. It is 24 pages long and covers all of the content and skills that they need to know for the exam. I usually print as an A5 booklet. I have attached a PDF booklet in case it does not open correctly on your computer. The booklet contains: Tick list content Exam layout/ Exam structure grids Content the students need to revise - Topic 1: Boom; Topic 2: Society; Topic 3: Bust; Topic 4: New Deal Some basic activities The students have really responded well to this resource and have used it instead of taking home textbooks. I actually use this as a 3 exam revision guide, but thought I would sell separately, as other schools may not do all of the same exams as my school. If you would like the whole exam booklet do not hesitate to contact. Enjoy and use as you wish!

Included in this pack is all of the lesson resources and structure mats that can be used throughout the whole course. There is also an introduction to exam questions that can be printed and placed at the beginning of students books The structure of the lesson: Students read through the evidence and answer 1. source inference based on a Diet Coke advert 2. purpose question based on a Coke Zero advert 3. explain question based on gender advertising 4. reliability question based on 2 sources 5. judgement question It is a fun lesson that allows students to access all exam skills required for this unit, but through fun evidence and sources.

I use this resource whilst teaching about early immigration and why people decide to move from different countries. This lesson can run over 1 or 2 lessons and it thoroughly enjoyed by students. It involves them getting into groups, creating a name for their country, developing a national anthem, creating a flag, presenting their country and then deciding if they would like to emigrate to a different country.

This resource can be used in numerous ways whilst teaching the these three topics: 1. WWI and British society 1903-1928 2. WWII 1939-1945 3. The USA 1919-1939 I have used these mats at the beginning of a topic so that students have chance to choose a square and research. I have used this as a revision exercise where students have to collect 3 key features about each key word. I have also used this as a board game where students roll a dice and collect as many squares as they can by asking different key questions to each other.
