This versatile easy-to-use KS1 Story Writing Pack includes: An editable 11 slide PPT with 10 fabulous story ideas and discussion prompts. A choice of three planning sheets for pupils to use to organise their ideas before writing a story. Pupils can also use these to create a story map based on a story they have listened to. A fiction vocabulary card which pupils can refer to during writing. It contains a selection of vocabulary lists enabling pupils to be more ambitious in their word choices. Word lists are linked to areas such as characters, settings, feelings etc. A self / peer assessment checklist which is useful at the editing stage. Pupils can use these to identify areas where improvement is needed. All resources are fully editable allowing teachers to adapt them to meet the needs of their class.
