A fun game to get your learners to remember the key plot points in Macbeth! Ideal for low / mid level learners.
Instructions
Split the students into equal teams.
Twenty questions will appear on the interactive whiteboard. The aim of the game is for each group to answer the questions correctly and to solve the riddle that is hidden behind of the boxes.
Each team, when it is their turn to go, will pick a question that they want to answer. They will then state the number assigned to this question. If the team gets the question right, then the teacher will click on the box and the box will then disappear. A section of the hidden riddle will then be revealed and the team can then take a guess at solving the riddle.
Each question that’s answered correctly is worth 1 point! If the hidden riddle is correctly solved by the team, then this is worth an extra five points!
The team with the most points, wins!
The great thing about the game is that even if the riddle is solved, learners can continue to answer the questions to gain points!

Level 1 Employability: Team Work Task Booklet - Create a Business Plan for a New Business Venture
This resource I have created is a seven page booklet which contains a team activity that has been used many times with adult learners. These learners were completing a Level 1 Employability Course with City and Guilds and had to complete a module named: ‘Working as Part of a Team.’ This booklet covers unit 4 and unit 6 of the team working module.
This group project gives learners a set of instructions to create a business plan that will be used to launch a new business venture. They are required to deliver this business plan in the form of a presentation, which they will used to show potential investors or clients of their services. The team will be required to plan everything from the company logo to advertising for staff members to join their firm.
Depending on the ability of your learners this task usually takes between 3- 6 hours to complete before the learners deliver their presentation.
All instructions for this task are in the booklet, as well as task sheets that will enable them to complete this task and also to reflect on the
work they have completed.
This activity has also been used with KS3 learners recently with great success.

The Queen's Jubilee Escape Room Game Quiz . KS2 /KS3 Clues /Quiz English / Math Hide the Clues
THE GAME IS UPLOADED TWICE - DIFFERENTIATING FOR BOTH KS2 & KS3.
A fun jubilee game. Hide the 10 clues around classroom and get the pupils to find them. They then have to work out the clues to escape the Tower of London!
Instructions:
You are trapped inside of the Tower of London and are going to miss the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee party! your only way out is to solve a coded message. Solve it or you will be trapped inside forever!
• There are ten clues hidden around the room.
• You need to locate all ten clues and then you will need to solve them in order.
• seven of the clues, once solved, will reveal different letters of the alphabet. there are grey boxes on the clue sheet for you to write these letters down, as well as space on your answer sheet. When you have noted down all of the letters, you will then unscramble the letters to reveal a ‘queen’ related phrase.
• The three other clues will reveal three separate numbers. You will add these numbers together to reveal a 3-digit number. This will be the last part of the code.
• Once you have ‘cracked’ both codes, you will then be able to escape from the tower!

24X LGBT / Pride Discussion / Debate Tasks - English Language / PSHE / Recent Headlines Cards
3X Flashcard sheets that contain 24 different class discussion debate topics. I made this resource for a PSHE lesson. I chose 24 different headlines, from articles published around the world, that would encourage a class discussion. Learners will put forward their opinions regarding a particular headline.
You could cut out the cards and a give a card to each student. The student then needs to write their views regarding the headline and they could share this with the class.
You could also use these cards as prompts for a debate on an issue relating to the headline. I have added the source on the bottom of each card so that learners can conduct further research on the headline.
These sheets are double sided ( with an LGBT background on one side of the cards). Laminate and cut out and get your student to choose a task at random. These are ideal to use once the students have read the book.

Front book cover analysis with 9 questions to answer relating to the front cover.
Taboo - a word, guessing relating to the play. The objective of the game is for a student to sit with their back to the interactive whiteboard. The other students give the student clues and they have to guess the word on the board behind them.
Word Scramble - Instead of the teacher giving students a short summary of the play, students will be asked to find this out for themselves by unscrambling the letters on the board.

Students will watch a short news report which relates to the topic of the play. They will then make predictions about the play based on this report.
