Send the booklet home with the children, before they start in your class, so they can complete it with their parents over the summer holidays. They are black and white, 1, to save on colour ink and 2, so children can colour in the little pictures. Once children return them they can be laminated so they can last through out the year. In response to the COP26 conference highlighting strategies to enhance our planet’s well-being, I’ve assembled several worksheets to complement your teaching efforts. These include numerous sorting activities related to recycling and better alternatives, along with tasks such as creating a poster, literacy exercises, cutting activities, fine motor control tasks, and counting challenges. The collection comprises a total of 13 pages featuring 12 engaging activities.

A game for 4 players with characters from the book, Dear Zoo, by Rod Campbell. Each player has a coloured board with 6 pictures on and on the table in the middle are 24 pictures turned upside down. Each player takes it in turns to turn a card to see if it matches to one on their board. The winner is the person to find all their pictures first.
