A series of sheets that can form a reading folder in class for children to find new ideas for reading books. This is to help children find books that are similar to ones they like and expand their reading to different books. These have been made using the what people buy on Amazon, using books children may read and seeing what other books people read from that and will continue to be added to.

A lesson/s that tries to inspire children to create independent writing. All credit due to Pobble with this then being taken and created as a lesson presentation and resources with ideas that children can then take and write about. Also included are some of my own word mats that children can use to support them with ideas. The prompt used for this lesson set is Air Hotel 3000 which can be found on Pobble on the 27th January.

Four lessons aimed at teaching prefixes in Lower KS2. Included are the lesson PowerPoints as well as any activity sheets required and a sheet with example prefixes. Over the four lessons, children will deepen their understanding of what prefixes are and where they can find them, the different meanings of prefixes and how they change the meanings of words. This will include practising with different prefixes as well as a final lesson that involves more explanation of what each prefix is doing.
