The examples are set out as following: Written addition (across 10) Written addition (across 100) Written subtraction (across 10) Written subtraction (across 100) For each one, there are four different examples. These include two 2-digit examples (one with place value counters and one with Base 10) and two 3-digit examples (again with place value counters and Base 10). The only exception to this is the written subtraction across 100 where all four examples are 3-digit (2 place value counters and 2 Base 10).
