Two activities for children that require them to use coordinating conjunctions. Each activity has six sentences with a gap for a coordinating conjunction where children have to decide between and, but or or.
Ten fully resourced lessons for a Year 6 unit on perimeter and area. Included are PowerPoints for each lesson that also include an arithmetic starter as well as activities and challenge activities as appropriate.
The ten lessons are as follows:

Lesson 1 (titled Lesson 2) - A lesson that focuses on the physical geography of Britain, including looking at the rivers, seas and terrain. All the resources that are needed to run the lesson are here including differentiated worksheets, the presentation and maps that can be used if you don't have access to atlases etc.
Lesson 2 (titled Lesson 3) - A lesson that focuses on the human geography of Britain, including looking at population trends, average salary and land use. A six-lesson unit focusing on improving understanding of different religious festivals and non-religious celebrations, based on the question ‘Why are festivals important to religious communities?’ from the Derbyshire syllabus.

A knowledge organiser for Ancient Greece. Included within this is a timeline for the period as well as a key vocabulary section for some of the words children may come across during the topic.
These are useful for either sticking in books at the start of the topic to refer back to or to enlarge and have on display.
A mat that can help children develop their reading comprehension skills, focusing on the different types of questions they might be asked and the meaning of words in questions and what it is therefore looking for.
Twelve lessons that focus on the rainforests in different ways, sequencing out and ensuring recap of knowledge. Included is the unit plan, a KWL sheet that can be used to check and develop understanding, the lesson presentations which includes pink and green bubbles to support and challenge and activities required for the lessons as well as a fact file.
Attached are 5 lessons based on using map skills and linking them to the Industrial Revolution. These have been written with Year 5/6 in mind but are easily adaptable.

An eleven lesson sequence that gives a brief introduction and overview of events in Europe following the end of the First World War. The sequence will focus on the end of the war and what followed with the Treaty of Versailles, some of the key events in the 1920's, the change in British politics, the rise of Hitler and the following actions that broke the Treaty of Versailles and policy of appeasement. All of the resources needed to run the lessons are included such as presentations and activities as well as the planning. These lessons have been written with upper KS2 and lower KS3 in mind but should be easily adaptable for KS4 students as well.

A fun game that can be used to revise being able to read coordinates or even as an activity as part of learning to read coordinates.
Included is a coordinates grid for themselves and an enemy grid to colour against with both of these being all four quadrants. Also included are pairs of ships for both players, either using the thinner versions or thicker versions.

53 different questions for Chapter One of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl that test a range of skills. These can be used for guided reading sessions or to give children as activities to support guided reading sessions/ whole class reading comprehensions. The questions follow the order of the chapter but don't have answers attached as the answers can vary depending on the child's opinion.
A PowerPoint and example questions that stem from the hexagon question from the 2018 KS2 Maths Reasoning 2 paper where children were given the value of two lots of shapes and had to work out that the difference was a missing hexagon.
