Primary History and Geography Assessment Grids
Both assessments are uploaded separately but have been uploaded together for ease where people want both.
History and Geography assessment grids from Year 1 to 6 that can be used to check children's understanding and use as a progress measure if wished. These are to be used as best fit as there may be some areas they are weaker/ more confident in with the aim being a best fit judgement.
I created these as there appears to be a gap in both history and geography assessment at the minute in primary schools since the move to assessment without levels. This enables schools to have something in place for a foundation subject that links well to other curricular areas, as well as showing an assessment system should visitors wish to know how you monitor progress.
Primary Geography Assessment Grids

St George Reading Comprehension
A text that looks at the story of St George and how he defended the Christian faith against the Emperor of Nicomedia that then includes three sets of 10 differentiated questions related to the text.
Finding Fractions of Amounts (Singapore Bar)
A lesson input presentation of being able to find fractions of amounts using the Bar Model. Included is also a practise sheet that children can use on the practise questions.
Square Numbers
A lesson on square numbers with a presentation to introduce the lesson and then three differentiated worksheets that children can work through.

Maya Unit of Work
A comprehensive pack that includes planning for 10/11 lessons working on the Maya. Planning includes cross-curricular links with writing, art and researching using I.C.T about Maya.
In addition to differentiated planning, attached are the resources required for this topic as well as all the IWB slides required for the topic. This should save any teacher planning to teach this topic a huge amount of time, whilst providing the opportunity to make slight adjustments where required/ add any extra information you may wish to.
Jigglypuff Reading Comprehension

GCSE Weimar Republic - Dawes Plan Revision Sheet
A sheet that looks at the Dawes plan, briefly recapping why the need arose and what the key terms were for the Dawes plan. Useful for a brief overview or revision to remember key elements of the Dawes plan.
GCSE Holocaust/ Anti-Semitism in Nazi Germany (Fact File/ Revision Sheet)
Two fact files that show key dates of measures against the Jewish people in Nazi Germany. They run from 1933-38 and from 1939 to 1945, focussing on key dates and key vocabulary that is involved. Useful for revision/ introducing the overview as they show key events over the 12 year rule of the Nazi party.
