Subordinate clauses
A presentation that looks at what subordinate clauses are with children before getting children to identify subordinate clauses within sentences and creating their own sentences with subordinate clauses in. This includes adverbial clauses, relative clauses and non-finite clauses.
Non-finite clauses
A presentation that looks at what non-finite clauses are with children before getting children to identify non-finite clauses within sentences and creating their own sentences with non-finite clauses in.
Relative Clauses
A presentation that looks at what relative clauses are with children before getting children to identify relative clauses within sentences and creating their own sentences with relative clauses in.
Simple Sentences (Main Clause)
A presentation that looks at what main clauses (simple sentences) are with children before getting children to identify the subject and predicate within sentences and identifying different types of nouns.
Adverbial Clauses
A presentation that looks at what adverbial clauses are with children before getting children to identify adverbial clauses within sentences and creating their own sentences with adverbial clauses in.
Ancient Egyptian Pyramids
A presentation that introduces Ancient Egyptian pyramids to children, looking at why they were built, how they were built and how they were used. Also included are three potential activities that could be used with children, with all potential answers being found within the PowerPoint.
History Source Analysis Prompts
A range of questions that children can be thinking about when they are analysing historical sources. These are differentiated and have been created with Year 5/6 in mind but can just as easily be used higher or lower.
Guided Reading Activities
Guided reading sessions that are used with Year 5 children. These are used as a whole class activity, initially reading through the text with children before then getting them to answer questions that check their understanding of language before picking out key facts and inferring from the text.
N.B. I did not create this structure but saw it used elsewhere. These are just question sheets I have made that follow a successful strategy.
Four Operations Problem Solving Cards
40 cards that look at addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Handy to just give children as a challenge task or a starter to get them thinking, with questions that challenge fluency, reasoning and problem solving.
Written with 5/6 in mind but could be used in other year groups.
Imperative Verbs
A lesson that focuses on imperative verbs within the context of writing instructions. Included is the lesson presentation as well as two differentiated activities for children to work through (MA further differentiated through adult support).
Time adverbials
A lesson that looks at being able to use time adverbials accurately, particularly in the context of writing a set of instructions. Included is the presentation and a set of three differentiated resources for children to work through.

Year 5/6 Maths Planning Bundle
A range of Maths topics covered in this extensive planning bundle. Each one includes planning and worksheets to teach a unit of lessons. This so far includes 159 lessons and will have more units added.
Worksheets are differentiated three ways with a mastery aim running throughout. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.
These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.

A lesson for 5/6 that looks at living conditions for ordinary Victorians. Included is the presentation used as Notebook and PowerPoint and differentiated activities for children to complete in their books.
