Le Petit Déjeuner - matching pairs game
A fun way to practise breakfast vocabulary in French, or in fact any other language Children have to turn two cards over and name the item of food or drink on the card. To win a matching pair they have to name what is on the card correctly. This activity could be extended to using du/de la/ des when either using the expressions 'Je voudrais ... or Je mange ...&'or using le/la/les when expressing opinions about food. Le Grand Livre des Monsieur et Madame
A fun way to learn colours and numbers in French or any other foreign language. Adult gives instruction as to what colour a Mr Men character has to be coloured. Also useful for teaching the body parts, nose and hair and hat. I am currently working with 3 year olds in a nursery and have used these worksheets to teach the expressions: je suis and j'ai.
