French Lotto Game
Playing lotto is a fun way for very young children to practise a range of vocabulary in any language. With older children they can be asked 'Qui a ....?&'. They reply &';J'ai ........&'. An activity where the children have to design a healthy meal and an unhealthy meal in French. I thought this made a pleasant change from making lists of words. Students have to label in French those foods which they have drawn together with the names of the 'place setting&' items. Could be used as a test. Please spare a moment to comment. Simple 'gap-fill&' exercise to practice the use of du/de la and de l&'; when using the prepositions: à côté de/près de and en face de. Worksheet also uses the preposition 'entre&'. Vocabulary concentrates on places in a town and shops. Students should have fun saying where each animal is.

Snakes & ladders - Daily routine
Board game using reflexive verbs describing a daily routine. Rules are slightly different to the usual ones. The difference being is that if a child lands on a snake and they are able to say the phrase describing the picture then they do NOT have to slither down the snake but remain on the square and continue around the board.
